Eagle Mammoth 1789
The Eagle "Mammoth" pencil appears to have been introduced in the US around 1894. It was originally made in two colors, No. 1791 blue and No. 1792 red. A green pencil, No. 1789, was added later. As indicated by its name, this is a jumbo hexagonal pencil.
Eagle Veriblack 315
Most Veriblack pencils that I have seen were painted yellow however I also have one that is painted black. It is a round pencil with a large diameter (8mm) and soft lead. A 1954 school supply catalogue said it, "contains large size and very soft black lead."
